Founded in 1973, Esporão is one of the most relevant wine and olive oil producers in Portugal having a decisive role in the international affirmation of the Alentejo region, exporting its products to over 50 countries.

Esporão has produced premium olive oils since 1997, it all started when our Brazilian distributor challenged us to produce olive oils as good as our wines. Production started from the desire to apply the knowledge obtained in the production of great Alentejo wines into the production of high quality olive oils.

We aim for our olive oils to be the expression of the land they come from, produced exclusively from olives of the Alentejo region, using indigenous olive varieties. Olive oils from the best olives in Alentejo, Portugal.
