Membership is by invitation. To apply, submit your details via the application form on our Membership page. Your application will be reviewed by our CEO and, if approved, presented to the Board for a final decision. You will be notified at each stage of the process.

A recommendation from a current ESMA International Network member significantly strengthens your application and is the most common path to joining. However, it is not a strict requirement — all applications are reviewed individually by our CEO.

Members receive a board-approved, CEO-screened profile in the ESMA International Network Directory; inclusion in ESMA International Network newsletters and trade media outreach; access to member-only seminars and social events at major international trade fairs; an invitation to the annual ESMA International Network Convention; and unlimited access to our library of market resources, reports, and regulatory updates.

ESMA International Network currently has more than 185 members across 62 countries in Europe and internationally. Every member is individually screened and board-approved, which ensures the integrity and quality of the network.

ESMA International Network is governed by an elected Board of Directors representing member companies from across Europe and internationally. Day-to-day operations are managed by our CEO, David O'Neill, who has been a member of the ESMA International Network network for over 20 years.

ESMA International Network is based in Clane, Co. Kildare, Ireland.

The Annual Convention is ESMA International Network's flagship event, held once a year in a different European city. It brings together members from across the network for presentations, knowledge sharing, and high-value networking. The 48th ESMA International Network Convention was held in London, UK, in June 2026. Details of the next convention will be announced soon.

ESMA International Network organises a range of events throughout the year, including the Annual Convention, member-only seminars, webinars, and social gatherings at major international trade fairs such as ISM Cologne, Anuga, and others. All upcoming events are listed in our Event Hub.

Most ESMA International Network events are exclusive to current members. Some events and webinars may be open to invited guests or prospective members. Check the individual event listing for attendance details, or contact us if you're unsure.
