We’re delighted to announce our latest Manufacturer Member to the ESMA International Network Community – Gü from the UK.

Gü was founded in 2003 by James Averdieck. Whilst living in Belgium, James was amazed by their chocolate standards & felt there was a gap in the UK market for a high-quality chocolate dessert. Using only the best raw materials & artisan techniques, Gü was born! Premiumising the desserts category & giving consumers restaurant-quality desserts at home.

Fred Ponnavoy was employee No1 & is still there today! Fred is a maître pâtissier chef & is responsible for the creation & sign off, for every single Gü product.

Sku No1 was the legendary Chocolate Souffle which started it all! Since then, Gü has created & launched over 240 products across 8 different categories.

In 2017, their world class facility opened in Bishops Stortford, with a capacity of producing c.100m ramekins per year. Over the last 20 years, Gü has firmly established itself as the clear No1 Dessert Brand in the UK!
