We’re delighted to welcome our latest Manufacturer member to the ESMA International Network Community – Fused by Fiona Uyema from Ireland.

Fused is different because it’s personal. A love affair with Asian food, fueled by three years living in the region, saw Fiona Uyema channel her passion into an award-winning food business that puts flavour and convenience at its heart.

Living and travelling in Asia, Fiona immersed herself in the wonders of the incredible food culture. A student of Japanese with a keen interest in languages, she spent time with the locals, building an understanding of the exotic ingredients, spices and traditional recipes that would go on to inform all of Fused’s unique Asian products.

While living in Japan, she met Gilmar and they connected over their shared love for Asian food! Fiona’s surname “Uyema” comes from her husband Gilmar’s grandparents who were born in Okinawa, Japan.
