ESMA/De Care Trade Mission to Warsaw

The ESMA International Network in conjunction with co-partner - The De Care Group from Warsaw, Poland invited 18 ESMA International Network Members from 12 countries across the world to our fourth “ESMA International Network Trade Mission” last month.All 18 delegates supported with the ESMA International Network CEO and Olga were greeted by Maciek Szała (Founder of De Care) and Rene Starzomska (Shareholder ofDe Care).

The De Care organisation is the largest manufacturer of Asian Food across Poland and many other European countries. Evidence was clearly visible when visiting retail stores across the city of Warsaw, just browse the many photographs we have made available so you can view for yourselves what Maciek and Rene along with their teams can stand very proud of what they have achieved over many years of dedication to their brands.

One of the many experiences we enjoyed during our visit to the De Care Group wasactually preparing and then cooking our own Asian lunch with the assistance of their in-house Executive Chef – what an amazing experience that all of us enjoyed. Thankfully, during our culinary experience, no injuries were incurred using razor sharp knives and cooking on industrial cookers. Famous TV Chef Gordon Ramsey would have been very proud of all of us and finally – our lunch was amazing.

Another great experience we enjoyed with Maciek was his own personal tour of his beautiful city of Warsaw – Maciek’s knowledge of his city and country was amazing. The history he shared with us was very special but is too long to share it with you at this moment in time.

Finally, I would like to finish my reflections by saying a “Big Thank You to Maciek and Rene” for this amazing experience of learning more about your beautiful country, city, culture and your company De Care along with the team you have working with you across so many different countries and categories of food.
