I’m delighted to announce our latest New Distributor/Manufacturer Member from Ireland to the ESMA Community – Boyne Valley Group.

Boyne Valley Group was established in 1960 when Malachy McCloskey, the company founder, launched the Boyne Valley Honey brand in Drogheda, where it is still based today. Boyne Valley Honey went on to become a clear market leader and is one of Ireland’s most iconic brands.

Their portfolio comprises of market leaders including McDonnells, Chivers, Erin soup, Don Carlos, Homecook, Lakeshore and Lifeforce. Their non-food portfolio includes Killeen, Ireland’s favourite household brand, and the only manufacturer of steel wool and soap pads in the country.

They have a strong route-to-market in Grocery, Wholesale and Foodservice for ambient and chilled food and household products, they also have one of the largest field sales teams in Ireland and pride themselves on excellent customer service.

The Boyne Valley Group proudly boasts market leading brands across 25 categories and now exports to over 30 countries worldwide.

They manufacture across three sites in their hometown of Drogheda, Co. Meath, Ireland. Their facilities include an innovation centre with flexible scheduling, which incorporates a development kitchen and sensory analysis suite where they welcome consumers on site to assist them with new product development. Their warehouse spans 269,000 square feet including 25 loading bays and uses state of the art voice technology, resulting in a paperless warehouse environment.
