We’re delighted to announce our latest New Manufacturer Member from Germany to the ESMA International Network Community – Confiserie Heilemann.

Confiserie Heilemann are a premium chocolatier from Bavaria. At Heilemann, extremely fine luxury chocolates, exquisite pralines and lovingly designed chocolate figures are produced – piece by piece and with a lot of love and care according to their traditional recipes.

The Heilemann success story began more than 60 years ago, when master confectioner Karl Heilemann made the finest pralines by hand in a small shop in Memmingen in the Allgäu. The shop soon became famous as Memmingen‘s first „Confiserie“ fine confectionery store.

Due to expansion, the company moved to Woringen in 1977. To this day, Confiserie Heilemann remains  at this location.

Due to the increasing demand for Heilemann products, the production site was expanded again in 2007. This enabled an even larger and more diverse production of the finest pralines, chocolates, hollow figures as well as occasional and seasonal items.

Confiserie Heilemann became a part of Viba Sweets Group in 2016, a medium sized family owned business from central Germany.

Confiserie Heilemann select the best ingredients for the best taste. They have no artificial flavourings or preservatives and the cocoa in their chocolate is 100% Rainforest Alliance or Cacao Trace certified.

Confiserie Heilemann always try to balance global and local sourcing. Their district heating in Woringen comes from Biogas. They have their own beehives and the have started planting trees to support biodiversity. They also support organisations that help children and their families in need.
