Letter from your New ESMA International Network President

Dear fellow EIN members, friends and colleagues,

I am truly honoured to take on the role of President of the ESMA International Network. It is a privilege to serve such a successful and now truly global organisation that brings together such a professional and successful association of both distributors and manufacturers, united by a common purpose: to advance our industry through collaboration, innovation, and the sharing of knowledge and expertise.

Following in the footsteps of many outstanding predecessors, I take on this responsibility with both humility and enthusiasm, aiming to continue building on their great work, my aims for the year ahead are threefold:

Firstly, to continue fostering an inclusive, forward-thinking business network where every member feels engaged, valued, and inspired to contribute – promoting best practices and championing the values that make the ESMA International Network such a unique organisation.

Secondly, to support David O’Neil in continuing to grow our network and our influence, broadening our footprint both numerically and geographically, whilst further enhancing the benefits and services that we offer to you, our valued members.

Thirdly, to work with the Board to shape our global vision and strategy for the next five years. In 2020, the Board set out a roadmap to 2025. That vision has largely been fulfilled, so over the coming months we will begin the process of creating a new strategic plan – reaffirming our purpose, setting out our goals for the years ahead, and defining the strategies and priorities to achieve them. We aim to present this updated vision to you in early 2026.

Finally, I warmly invite you to join us in the historic city of London for our annual convention next year, June 11^th-13^th 2026. As we all know, the world is changing at an ever-accelerating pace. We are therefore working to bring you a lineup of high-quality speakers and presentations to help us navigate, and thrive, in these unpredictable and chaotic times. And, as always, alongside the convivial business and networking sessions, there’ll be time to enjoy London’s iconic history and architecture.

I’m excited about the road ahead and will do my utmost to serve the ESMA International Network and all of you with energy, commitment, and integrity.
