GC Brands is an Australian, third generation family-owned and operated business that has been representing local and international brands in the Australian market place for over 98 years. They opened their doors in 1926 as Spot Brokers, servicing Sydney’s Wholesalers, and over the next ten years evolved to become one of the first full service brokers – WK King Sales.
In 1996 Grocery Corporation was created, taking over the importing arm of WK King Sales, and since then they have successfully launched many well-known brands into the Australian market, across numerous food and beverage categories.
In 2022 the company transitioned its identity to GC Brands to better represent the extensive categories and channels their portfolio services, along with the sophisticated and rapidly growing face of the business today.
GC Brands has a strong reputation of representing international brands on the Australian retail market. They pride themselves on their highly experienced sales and marketing team – Each Principal is assigned a Brand Manager who is directly responsible for the success of each brand.
They understand the complexities of navigating the ever-changing Australian retail landscape and take pride in their ability to leverage key relationships across all channels to deliver results for their brands.
